Project Abstract

CoDe MODELING OF GRAPH COMPOSITION FOR DATA WAREHOUSE REPORT VISUALIZATION

ABSTRACT

The visualization is the emerging technique to obtain human-computer interaction. It contains the reports and graphs, for both the accuracy and the complexity of relationships between data must be preserved.  Report visualization is performed through different types of standard graphs (Histograms, Pies, etc.). However, this kind of representation provides separate information items and gives no support to visualize their relationships which are extremely important for most decision processes. This paper we propose a design methodology exploiting the visual language CoDe based on a logic paradigm. CoDe allows organizing the visualization through the CoDe model which graphically represents relationships between information items and can be considered a conceptual map of the view. The proposed design methodology is composed of four phases: the CoDe Modeling and OLAP Operation pattern definition phases define the CoDe model and underlying metadata information, the OLAP Operation phase physically extracts data from a data warehouse and the Report Visualization phase generates the final visualization. Moreover, a case study on real data is provided.

EXISTING SYSTEM

PROPOSED SYSTEM

EXISTING CONCEPT:-

A large set of tools is already available for visual representation of tabular reports by means of standard graphs as Histograms, Pies and so on. However, these tools usually only allow representation through separated graphs and cannot visualize relationships between information contained in different reports.

Finally the existing techniques are only used to present the data’s in visual graphs but the relationship between the items is not preserved.

PROPOSED CONCEPT:-

The CoDe-based graph composition modeling allows to visualize relationships between information in the same image following the definition of efficiency of a visualization

The choice of the final visualization layout in terms of standard graphs is left to a visualization interface which provides the necessary implementation constructs. Expressiveness of the CoDe language is guaranteed by the natural paradigm choice of the first-order logic.

EXISTING TECHNIQUE:-

Traditional CoDe Modeling Technique.

PROPOSED TECHNIQUE:-

CoDe Modeling Approach.

TECHNIQUE DEFINITION:-

The traditional CoDe modeling technique using several tools like OLAP. The given training datasets are converted into particular graphs based on CoDe modeler.

TECHNIQUE DEFINITION:-

The formal definition of the graphic language CoDe is based on the idea that a visual representation of relationships between information items should be considered as a statement of a formal language.

DRAWBACKS:-

It doesn’t show the relationship between the graphs and reports.

This approach needs some external tools to perform the SQL operations on the operational datasets.

ADVANTAGES:-

CoDe modeling clearly specifies the relationship between the graphs and data reports.

Provides the best human-computer interactions on data analysis process.
