LOW COST PRE-CODER DESIGN FOR MIMO AF TWO-WAY RELAY CHANNEL

Category :

Sub Category : MIMO-RELAY

Project Code : ITDSP04

Project Abstract

In this letter, we revisit the pre-coder design problem for the amplify-and-forward two-way relay channel with multiple antennas equipped at each node. Based on generalized singular value decomposition (GSVD), we propose a novel pre-coding technique named Hermitian. Relay Pre-coding (HRP) with a relatively low design complexity. Compared with the existing GSVD precoding method, HRP can achieve a higher rate by avoiding zeroforcing operation but keeping the same design complexity.

EXISTING SYSTEM

PROPOSED SYSTEM

EXISTING CONCEPT

we consider the problem of jointly designing/

computing the spatial source covariance

matrices (source matrices) and the spatial relay

transformation matrix (relay matrix) for a nonregenerative two-way MIMO relay system where all nodes have multiple antenn as.

In practice, one of the two “users” can be an

access point, and the other a user equipment.

In many situations, both users are already

equipped with multiple antennas. When a relay

is placed between them to improve the power

and spectral efficiency, the relay should be a

MIMO relay and hence each of the nodes in the system is a MIMO node.

PROPOSED CONCEPT

ATWO-WAY RELAY CHANNEL (TWRC)

consists of two sources and a relay. Assume

that all nodes are equipped with multiple

antennas, so each link forms a multiple-input

multiple-output (MIMO) system.

The amplify- and-forward (AF) strategy, each

transmission is completed in two-phases and

the relay function is restricted to be a linear

transform. AF is relatively simple compared

with other alternatives such as decode-and forward

or compress-and-forward strategies

EXISTING TECHNIQUE:

     Minimum mean square error (WMMSE)

algorithm.

   generalized singular value decomposition GSVD)

PROPOSED TECHNIQUE:

        Hermitian Relay Pre-coding (HRP).

 Two-way relay channel.

TECHNIQUE DEFINITION:

The generalized SVD (GSVD) decomposes a

rectangular matrix and takes into account

constraints imposed on the rows and the columns

of the matrix. The GSVD gives a weighted

generalized least square estimate of a given matrix

by a lower rank matrix and therefore, with an

adequate choice of the constraints, the GSVD

implements  all linear multivariate techniques.

TECHNIQUE DEFINITION:

HRP technique for AF MIMO TWRC. HRP

has much lower complexity than the

optimization method and has much better

performance than the GSVD method.

HRP allows a simple optimization technique

for power allocation over different eigenmodes. Therefore, HRP maintains the low-complexity.

DRAWBACKS

    complexity is very high.

   Achievable sum rate is low.

GSVD suffer from noise.Eavesdropper can easily crack the message by using Brute force attack.

ADVANTAGES

             complexity is very low

             Achievable sum rate is high

 HRP not suffer from noise
